INSTALLING MIRROR TO THE WALL
Anytime that you are going to tile a wall
with mirror it is suggested that you paint the wall a dark color such as black, charcoal grey or espresso brown. The
reason for this is no wall is perfectly flat so there is always the chance that there will me tiny gaps between the mirror.
Failure to paint the background a dark color means that any small gaps will be noticable. If the wall is painted a dark
color, the color makes it look like a shadow, thus giving the illusion of a perfect installation.
In addition, always
use a quality brand name mirror mastic and never use silicone to adhear the mirrors to the wall. We well Gunther through
our online store however you can also use a product that can be picked up at Home Depot or Lowes under the BRAND NAME: LIQUID NAIL and
the PRODUCT NAME: MIRROR ADHEASIVE or MIRROR/GRANITE - NOTE: do not use construction adheasive, silicone or anything
other then products that say they are safe for mirror.
